In the morning, I go downstairs to meet the squad. We carry the bear, cake and board to the basketball court and present them to the birthday girl (aka staff Lydia, if you haven't noticed), who's been doing morning footdrill and already noticed us. Daniel comments nicely about how diffused we are. We sing happy birthday and staff blows out the candles, holds the board just before xinyi tells her about the wet paint and get a blue finger. She bemoans the fact she'll have to hold it such that everyone can see it or risk getting a colourful shirt ><>
Off to assembly, where some people wish me happy birthday. Back to class, when I bump into clar and realise it was Clare who smsed me happy birthday, not Clar.
First lesson: LA. Clar gives a me a black kitty cat and a notebook ,which she says is from the 6/12ers, or at least the mugger group. I ask her to help me ask them to write stuff in the notebook. Get suaned by mr Ken while trying to help him by telling him about some button in the hole in hte table, he thinks I said something about a buttonhole. He deliberates on making me the subject of his next monologue.
After school: at first I really don't want to go help out with the videoing, but its was SO worth it, 'cause they're SO cute and funny, and guess what? After we were done, Haonan treated me to peach tea nata for a birthday present, thanks da ge! Super happy sia, he's the only squadmate to get me something ><>
